Aiding Women Entrepreneurs

India has relatively fewer businesses launched by women…

Despite all-round progress in various spheres, so far as businesses promoted by women, India lags behind. However there has been an improvement in the situation in recent times with women launching start-ups in sectors like infotech, web, fashion, apparel and hospitality.

Women entrepreneurs face problems that their male counterparts do not encounter.  These problems include difficulty in accessing Bank loans, lack of networking opportunities, social barriers, absence of mentoring and support etc. However, these limitations are being gradually overcome.

Women, take up the entrepreneurial challenge today !

We list below in Resources the networks who provide support systems to women entrepreneurs and business women. Join them to take advantage of business networking, mentoring by experts, receiving guidance, attending conferences and seminars, participating in training programmes etc. Your existing business can benefit in multiple aspects such as growth, profitability, marketing, technology, strategy etc. New entrepreneurs too will gain by accessing the collective wisdom of established women entrepreneurs.

Prospective entrepreneurs need mentors, advisors, investors and helpful networks as well as a clearly articulated strategy and a go-to-market plan, which is market validated.
